Uganda’s Industrial Intelligence and Strategy Specialist
Philippa Nantamu is a Ugandan industrial intelligence and strategy expert, specializing in using data analytics, machine learning, and AI to transform complex information into actionable insights for industrial policy, investment, and business strategy.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Data Science and Analytics from Lund University, Sweden. Philippa has also worked at the Bank of Uganda on various assignments, gaining experience in economic analysis, policy evaluation, and financial systems. She further brings industry experience from Uganda Breweries Limited, where she applied analytical frameworks to generate strategic insights, optimize operations, and strengthen market competitiveness.
Nantamu focuses on supporting Uganda’s industrial transformation through evidence-based strategies, investment intelligence, and sector competitiveness assessments. She combines creativity and critical thinking to convert data into operational and policy decisions that drive measurable impact.
Committed to inclusive industrial growth, she also contributes to social initiatives, including programs that enhance access to high-nutrition foods for school children, reflecting her dedication to linking industrial strategy with societal value.
